Chateau Deyrem Valentin, Margaux, 2016, 75cl
Segu:50% Merlot, 49% Cabernet Sauvignon ja 1% Petit Verdot.
Neal Martin – 91-93 Points
The 2016 Deyrem Valentin has a ripe and generous bouquet that calms down in the glass, revealing attractive cranberry and blackcurrant fruit laced with pressed violets and iris. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, lovely pure-black fruit with just a hint of graphite. What I love about this Margaux (one of my favorites incidentally) is the disarming precision on the finish. It is simply a beautiful wine whose silky texture will seduce from 100 yards! 91-93 points
Jancis Robinson – 17/20 Points
50% Merlot, 49% Cabernet Sauvignon, plus 1% each of Petit Verdot, with about 35% new barrels:a splendid example from a small estate run by Jean Sorge with his two daughters. “Pretty good depth of colour. Heady nose – really rather smart. Obviously youthful but proper sleek, perfumed, satin-textured Margaux. 17/20”, Jancis Robinson, MW, jancisrobinson.com, 2nd July 2019. Now-2028
